Tank construction requirements
For new station, the probe should be installed in the middle of tank. The distance between probe and discharging/unloading tube, submersible pump should be more than 1 meter. Otherwise, the probe accuracy will be reduced and probe will be damaged. Pay attention to adjusting oil outlet direction of discharging tube
to make oil flow direction back to the probe. The riser/rising tube must be vertical welding. .

Remarks:
Either new or old station, the installation hole of probe and tank manhole must be on the axis of the oil tank, so as to ensure the probe and tubing, discharge tubing are installed vertically. If is submersible pump,the direction of discharge outlet can not be opposite the submersible pump

1.All grounded cables should use soft copper lines and the diameter>4≥
mm2;
2.Ground flat iron should be connected to the earthing system of gas
station;
3.Both ends of 6’ galvanized pipe should be welded to the earth bolts and
grounded cables should be connect to the ground flat iron;
4.Both ends of the 6’ galvanized pipe should be sealed;
5.The 6’galvanized pipe should be deeper than 200 mm underground;
6.Both ends of the wiring groove should be sealed, and at the turning of
the wiring groove should be installed the elbow;
7.The wiring groove installation must be beautiful (vertical and horizontal).

Magnetostrictive liquid float level

The heart of a magnetostrictive gauge is the waveguide which is made of special proprietary material. Magnetostrictive probe is excited via a current pulse which creates a magnetic field. Another magnetic field, caused by permanent magnets in the float(s), interacts with this magnetic field, creating a twist or “ torsional strain pulse” which travels up and down the waveguide at a very high speed. The difference in time between the initial current pulse and the return torsional pulse is used to determine
product and interface levels. This technology provides extremely accurate and highly repeatable measurements.
